British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) Selections: Over 226 Invitations Issued for Canada Immigration

1 Mins read

British Columbia’s Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) recently conducted new draws, extending at least 226 invitations to eligible candidates. These draws, which took place on July 25, were strategically divided into two categories: General and Targeted, each catering to specific streams.

The General draw proved highly beneficial for individuals in the technology sector, along with skilled workers and international graduates. A total of 175 invitations were granted across five BC PNP streams. To qualify for this draw, candidates had to achieve minimum scores ranging from 87 to 109 points, based on the program’s evaluation criteria.

Meanwhile, the Targeted draw was aimed at filling positions for Early Childhood Educators and Assistants (under NOC 42202). It issued 30 invitations to skilled workers and international graduates, requiring a minimum score of 60 points. In a separate draw focusing on Healthcare workers, an additional 20 invitations were extended, with the same minimum score of 60 points.

The program also held a draw specifically targeting other priority occupations under NOCs 31103 and 32104. In this batch, fewer than 5 invitations were offered to skilled workers and international graduates, all of whom had to attain a minimum score of 60 points. The limited number of invitations in this category is intended to safeguard the privacy of the individuals invited.

British Columbia’s Provincial Nominee Program continues to play a vital role in attracting skilled professionals and graduates from around the globe, providing them with excellent opportunities to contribute to the province’s workforce and thriving economy. These regular draws ensure that various sectors’ labor demands are met, ultimately fostering economic growth and development in the region.
