The 2023 Round of Invitations by IEC is Inviting 1,500 Applicants

The latest round of invitations for the International Experience Canada (IEC) program was sent out in June 2023. Around 1,500 invitations to apply for work permits were issued. Most of these invitations, 1,369 in total, were given to applicants from eligible countries under the Working Holiday visa category, which offers open work permits.

In total, approximately 85,000 invitations have been sent this year under the Working Holiday Category. Additionally, there were 152 invitations issued under the Young Professionals category and over 17 invitations for the International Co-op (internship) category.

The current processing time for the IEC season is around 9 weeks according to recent updates from IRCC.

Below is a list of eligible countries with details on the number of invites sent this week, the total invites issued so far in 2023, available spots, and applications in the pool.
